Tim Russert

I was so sad yesterday to hear about the untimely death of Tim Russert. Even before all the praise and admiration from various TV colleagues, I thought he was the best in the business. He was so sincere in his demeaner and delivery. He was like the favorite grandpa,uncle, brother and I'm sure the best husband to his wife and dad to his son. His death was indeed untimely. Selfishly I looked forward to watching and listening to his program "Meet the Press" or on many appearances on TV news with the elections coming up in November. There will definitely be a void with him gone. I hope someone can step up to the plate and maybe fill at least one of his shoes. I pray for his family and close friends and just hope that some of the folks on TV News take just a piece of his goodness and bring reporting and journalism back to where it should be without all the bias and bashing.
